When juice is extracted from fruits, vegetables or cereal grass, fiber is lost from the pulp. Fiber is essential to proper digestion and optimal health, however removing it, is good with respect to a cleanse as the phytonutrients, enzymes and vitamins are more rapidly digested and absorbed and thereby speeding up healing and regeneration. Digestion is one of the most energy intensive processes in our body, by taking a break from this we are freeing up energy to be directed towards the cleansing process.
